When Cashmere Fibres international’s website suddenly became unavailable – they contacted WebDoggy for help.
It turned out that the company that had originally registered the Domain www.cashfibers.co.uk had gone bust, – and as a result – not renewed the domain name when it expired.
Even worse – the company wo had gone bust had registered the domain in THEIR own name instead of the client – Cashmere Fibres. This then makes the company whose name was on the registration details the legal owner – as in the web hosting company who had gone bust!
This is more common than people think and I have seen this type of thing many times before. Within a short space of time , WebDoggy was able to retrieve the domain for Cashmere Fibres and put the correct registration details on Nominets’ (the governing body for .uk domain names) records this time.
In addition – Cashmere Fibres wanted a new site to replace their old tired looking site – so after an initial meeting we thought Wordpress would be the best option as a platform to base the site on.As David Lee, Director of Cashmere Fibres , likes to update his clients on a regular basis with Market Reports and Market news of the worlds Cashmere trade, Wordpress was the perfect system to allow him to write and update his own reports – and for them to appear on his website instantly , without having to rely on a web designer to do the updates for him.
In addition the directors of the company travel to various locations around the world and wanted to be able to publish pictures of their trips on the website themselves.
WebDoggy designed the new site for them around a clean & minimalist theme and they were back up and running within a week. Training was also given on how to manage the new Wordpress driven site.

Our new website has given us the opportunity to update the market news section and also add our own updates and photographs as and when we need to. This is something which we were not able to do last time.
We expect to receive many more enquiries via the new set up.
