Shans Supermarket - Keighley
Shans Supermarket is a large independent Supermarket in Keighley specialising in Multicultural products..
Shans approached me to re-design their website on recommendation from Yorkshire Halal Meat Suppliers – who I had already created a website for.
The site is built using Joomla – a Content Managed System – where the client can easily put their own content on the site and update existing content.
The ability to have rotating banners for their special offers was also a requirement.
Shans’ site has been live for a few months now and is the precursor for another extension I am currently working on with the client in terms of E-Commerce.
This is a good example of when a client needs a site that will grow indefinitely over time – Joomla a full fledged content management system – can be deployed as the back end to make growth of the site an easy and manageable process.
The site is still in its infancy and is well worth visiting from time to time for updates on offers etc.

Having shopped at the new Shans for a long time – I can recommend their extensive range of Herbs, Spices , Pulses, Vegetables that cannot be found at other Supermarkets in the area – and they are very reasonably priced in comparison to some of the other ‘Big High Street’ names!
