When Yorkshire Precision Engineering wanted to create a new dynamic site – they contacted Webdoggy for advice.

They had not been able to find a satisfactory web developer who could meet their needs – despite going to several companies and individuals who failed to come up with the look and feel they were after.

The site was built on a Wordpress back end, allowing for easy additions and alterations by the client. The structure of the previous site was mimicked in page name so they did not loose links any of the pages already indexed by Google.

Yorkshire Precision manufacture Turned Components up to 75mm diameter and the site needed to clearly depict the scope of components they produce visually as well as in the copy.

The photography was a very important element to showcase components of all sizes clearly to prospective clients.

WebDoggy not only designed the site to their exact specification , but also did a photo shoot of many of the components – these photos had to be crisp and clear – depicting scale as well as detail.

The photographs were taken using a Nikon D200 Digital SLR.

Many other websites I have seen on the net are let down by poor photography of items – so great care was taken when shooting the components in the correct lighting and also post-production of the shots for inclusion on the new website.
