Desired Experience: The objective was to design a unit that visually demonstrated the quality entertaining experience of Sony Blu-ray. Showcase new film releases, being informing as well as inspiring to the consumer whilst encouraging impulse purchases.
Market Sector: 600 units were distributed in the UK, France, Germany, Spain and Netherlands.
Results: Pan-European distribution combining various selling elements into one unit.
Customer Opinion: The unit stood apart from the competition in-store because it not only looked great, but also effectively communicated what the product could do, as well as displaying a large choice of films currently available.
Store Opinion: Good stand out and encouraging sign of increases in sales.
