Valley revamp HBOS branches
Thursday, 21st May - 2009
VValley was given the brief by HBOS to help de-clutter their high street branch by creating clearly defined areas in-store for literature holders and promotional posters. The overall aim was to increase exposure and understanding of HBOS financial product offerings throughout branches.
The in-store holders were distributed through 1,000 HBOS branches across the UK and Spain and Bank of Scotland branches across the UK.
James Haggas, MD of Valley, commented: “Valley understand the importance and relevance of using the correct point of purchase and in store materials within a banking environment. We used our experience and knowledge of high quality units to create and distribute free-standing units to enable consumers to find information quickly and easily.
“These free standing units were placed in high traffic areas, and wall display units also achieved good positioning throughout branches.”
HBOS were particularly impressed with Valley’s installation of the units and said: “Installation was flawless due to the extensive pre-production research and pilot store programmes which Valley put in place.
“The pre-production research period enabled stores to ascertain and eliminate any of the issues that the branch colleagues expressed concerns over, ensuring 100% compliance in branch.
“All parts were modular, so any breakages could be fixed easily by using replacement items, eliminating the necessity for expensive installation teams. Presence throughout branches has increased customers understanding of our products and helped increase sales.”
The HBOS product range is now clearly defined within branches, making it easy and accessible for consumers to find the product that best suits their needs. HBOS have noted a significant decrease in consumers having to ask for information, and have received excellent feedback about the in-store holders.
